African Dance Classes with Caro Diallo through October 6th - Beginner's and All Levels

Caro Diallo, renowned Senegalese dancer featured each summer at the   Abene African Dance and Drum Festival, will continue to offer African dance classes Wednesdays and Fridays in Brattleboro and Putney, Vermont through October 6th, 2010. 

Diallo teaches an all-levels class with special attention to beginners   Wednesdays at The Church 210 Main Street in Brattleboro (next to the post office) and an all-levels class on Fridays at the Putney Community Center on Christian Square off Main St. opposite Town Hall in Putney. 

Classes are $15. They begin at 7:00 PM and are accompanied by live drumming.

Diallo is founder and chief choreographer for Senegal's Black Soofa dance troupe.  He has taught and performed throughout Africa, Europe, and the U.S.  His teaching is lucid and inspiring, and he works effectively with both beginning and experienced dancers.   For more information or to let us know you are coming to a particular class, write to africandancevt@gmail.com or call 802-258-6475.
